If you have a space that you rent out for acting, dance, music, or yoga/pilates rehearsals or classes, you are eligible to list your organization and spaces on HourSpaces.

How much does it cost to list my spaces on HourSpaces?
It is FREE to list your spaces in the HourSpaces directory. You can post pictures and add a description of your spaces for free.
Can I just be listed in your directory?
Yes. If you are in the directory, you will come up in the search results. However, if the user searches for availability, your listing will not come up. To come up in the search results based on availability, you should sign up to use the "Book It" Feature ($19.99 a month for organization, $9.99 a month for apartment owners).
How do I input my availability into the HourSpaces Calendar?
When you sign up for the "Book It" feature. When you upgrade to the "Book It" feature, you will have access to the Calendar under the "My Spaces" section in the dashboard. Just click "Manage" and you are able to input
the availability of your spaces.
I own a studio and I manage my own reservation and booking system. Why do I need to use the HourSpaces’ calendar (Book It Feature)?
Actually, you don’t need to use the HourSpaces calendar. You already have your own reservation system unique to your organization. However, HourSpaces is a convenience for the user. Performers and teachers do not want to go to five different websites and call each studio looking for availability. They want a one-stop shop where they can quickly filter for the right space and book immediately. Similar to a travel site, we provide the user with all of the information from a wide range of studios so he can make the best decision about his space.
No one is booking my space through the HourSpaces calendar. Why should I keep inputting my availability into your calendar?
We are in the early stages and I anticipate less activity in the beginning. However, be patient. If you receive one customer from HourSpaces, he may become a customer of yours for a longer period of time. I don’t think the number of bookings you receive are the key metric, but rather the number of new customers who find out about your space through the HourSpaces website.
Does the HourSpaces Calendar sync with my reservation system?
At the moment, the HourSpaces calendar will not sync with your calendar. You will have to manually update the HourSpaces calendar to reflect your availability. However, the reward is the chance to meet a new customer!
I forgot to update the HourSpaces calendar and someone booked my space, which was already reserved. What do I do?
No problem. You can easily refund the customer the money via PayPal. Furthermore, once a customer books your space online, you will be given his email and phone number. You can now email or call the customer and reschedule. In the process, you may have been introduced to a new customer !
How can I enhance my listing to attract more customers?
I would make sure that you have uploaded pictures of all of your spaces in the “MySpaces” section. Users are most concerned with the look and feel of your spaces. Also, be sure to complete all of the information regarding your facility on the “Space Owner Details” section. The user will filter for a space based on location, price, size, etc. Fill out all this information so you will have a better chance of appearing within the results.
Can I offer promotions on your site?
Yes. We have a special section titled “Promotion” in the Org page where you can list your current promotions.
Can I promote my listings on Facebook?
Yes, each listing will have a Facebook “Like” button. Once you create your page and add your spaces, feel free to click the “Like” button. This will alert all your friends and fans of your HourSpaces page.

NOTE: Upon booking, your contact information is sent to the space owner and his contact information is sent to you (email, phone number, full name).
I want to book a space - but how does this booking system work?
1. On the Homepage, select you discipline and location. Click Search. You will be given your results.
2. On the search results page, apply the date filter and select your desired time (on the left side bar).
3. Review the results that have time available.
4. Select a listing and then select your space
5. Book the space and pay via PayPal.
Note: After you book, an email is sent to the space owner with your contact information. If there are any issues, they will contact you. If you have any issues, you can also contact the space owner directly as you have their email and phone numbers (they are published on the site). Otherwise, just show up to use the space at the scheduled time !
How do I know if a studio is available for the dates that I want?
On the search results page, you can filter for the available dates with the date filter.
How much does it cost to use HourSpaces?
It’s free to use HourSpaces. You pay the listed price for the space, but do not pay any additional fee for booking though the HourSpaces website.
Are there any additional/hidden fees I should know about?
No, this site is free for the user. You can book as many times as you would like and there are no hidden charges.
I am ready to book the space. How do I pay for it?
Currently, HourSpaces uses PayPal as a payment gateway. Just click "Book it" and you be able to pay for the space through PayPal.
I don’t want to use PayPal. I would rather pay with my credit card or with cash.
In this case, you should call and reserve the space from the studio directly. At this time, HourSpaces method of payment is PayPal. The only way to reserve your space is though PayPal.
How do I find out if the studio has any special offers?
If a space owner has a special offer, he will list it on his page. Additionally, these special offers will show up in the search results. To use the special offer, call the space and tell them that you saw the offer on HourSpaces.
How do I cancel my reservation?
If you want to cancel your reservation, please contact the space owner directly via phone or email. You will be subject to the cancellation policy of the space owner.
What is the cancellation policy of HourSpaces?
Each space owner has his own cancellation policy. It is usually 24-48 hours in advance. The user must abide by the space owner’s cancelation policy. This policy may be in his rental agreement or on his website. If you have any concerns or questions, you can call or email the studio.
If I cancel my reservation, will I get my money back?
If you cancel within the space owner’s cancelation policy and guidelines, they will refund your money via PayPal. If you are outside of their cancelation policy, it is at the discretion of the space owner.
I need to change the dates of my reservation; what do I do?
First cancel your reservation. Next, if the space owner has your desired time available on HourSpaces, you can book directly through HourSpaces.

You can actually contact the studio directly to ask any additional questions. Click on the blue "contact me" button on the listing page to get more detailed information about the listing.
Can I call or email the studio directly?
Absolutely. HourSpaces gives you the platform to search for a space and book it online. However, you can also choose to call or contact the studio owner directly and book the space over the phone.
